| |  Construction Pictures Buying Guide These are construction-pictures.com guidelines to help you purchase and download images.
1. Account log in
Once registered you can log in at any time, purchase and download images from construction-pictures.com.
Log in is only for account holders.
2. Search for image(s)
On the Home page there are two methods:
i. Use the image search box by inserting a keyword for your requirement.
ii. Use the product categories on the left side of the Home page to find your required topic.
3. Image Specification
This table is to help with your image selection. All values are approximate. Actual size varies by image
File Size - 50Mb, Resolution (dpi) - 300, Size - A3, Use - Any use including printing
File Size - 25Mb, Resolution (dpi) - 300, Size - A4, Use - Any use including printing
File Size - 12Mb, Resolution (dpi) - 300, Size - A5, Use - Any use including printing
File Size - 6Mb, Resolution (dpi) - 300, Size - A5, Use - Web use, Electronic presentations etc.
File Size - 1Mb, Resolution (dpi) - 72, Size - Use - Web use etc.
4. Calculating the price and choosing a licence
All images on construction-pictures.com are fixed price relative to the size you require, you can view the price of an image after you add it to the shopping cart and you can recalculate the price during your checkout procedure.
All images on construction-pictures.com are royalty free which only requires one licence.
5. Your shopping cart and buying later on
You can leave an item in the shopping cart for another time, and return to it by clicking the View Basket link at the top of the page. You can then proceed directly to checkout.
6. Payment Options
At the bottom of the shopping cart you will see these features:
By credit and debit card
We accept all major credit and debit cards including: American Express.
You may apply for a 30 day credit account by contacting us through the contacts page. Accounts are opened subject to status and at the discretion of construction-pictures.com.
7. Purchasing the image
Once you have selected your image(s), click View shopping cart at the top of the page. All the images you have selected will be priced in your shopping cart, click the "checkout" button.
You are now in Order summary and payment and you will see the following stages :
i. Billing details - Confirm your contact and invoicing details and amend if necessary
ii. Summary - Check your order summary
iii. Agree to construction-pictures.com's terms and conditions - Check the tick box to confirm
iv. Optional invoice information - Here you can add any extra information with regards to you order
v. Payment verification - If you are paying on account you will see your account number, then click 'Complete your order' to finalise the process. If you are paying by card you will need to enter the card details and click 'Complete your order' to finalise the process.
At the end of this stage you are asked to click Complete your order, which will debit your card or account, and purchase the image(s).
You will then be able to download your images.
8. Printing your invoice
An invoice will be emailed to you at completion of all orders
Account holders can log in and view their invoice history, they will be able to print an invoice of any of your previous orders from here at anytime.
9. Downloading images on a PC
i. Decide the file size you require and click the appropriate link below each image (you can only download one image at a time).
ii. You will be asked either to open it immediately, or to save it to disk.
iii. Click Save to disk, choose where to save the image. Then click save.
iv. If you choose to open it immediately into your browser and do not save it at that point, you will have to download the image again if you need to use it in the future.
Downloading images on a Mac
i. Decide the file size you require and click the appropriate link below each image (you can only download one image at a time).
ii. The image will open in a new browser window.
iii. Click your mouse and hold, or press control and click together, to open a pop up menu.
iv. Select the Download Image to disc option and choose the location where you would like to save the image.
v. You can monitor the download using the Download manager from your Tools menu.
Downloading tips:
Important note for 48MB, 28MB and 10MB files. Our images are compressed for download - if opened in your browser window, these images will decompress to their full size on screen. This could cause out of memory errors. To avoid this happening with a PC, save the files directly to disk by following our download instructions above. With a Mac this cannot be avoided so please wait until the image has downloaded to a new browser before saving it to disc.

11. Download failure and downloading images again
If your image download fails for some reason, please do not re-purchase that image. All purchased images are available to you for downloading again. If you have continuing problems, please contact our customer service team on customer@construction-pictures.com.
Please be aware that the download link is only active for 24 hours.
